Children enrichment clubss

We believe that clubs can help children acquire important life skills that can be useful to them throughout their lives and in their future careers.

Creative workshops

Children are naturally curious. From the minute they gain control of their limbs, they work to put themselves out into the world to see how it all works. They explore, observe and imitate, trying to figure out how things operate and how to control themselves and their environments. This unrestricted
exploration helps children form connections in their brain, it helps them learn—and it’s also fun.

Learning creative art is essential for children because it is one good natural activity to support this free play in children. The freedom to manipulate different materials in an organic and unstructured way allows for exploration and experimentation. These artistic endeavours and self-directed explorations are not only fun but educational as well. Creative art allows youth to practice a wide range of skills that are useful not only for life but also for learning.

Music Workshops

A 2016 study at the University of Southern California’s Brain and Creativity Institute found that musical experiences in childhood can actually accelerate brain development, particularly in the areas of language acquisition and reading skills. But academic achievement isn’t the only benefit of music education and exposure. Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy.

It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words. Dancing to music helps children build motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression. For children and adults, music helps strengthen memory skills. They begin to develop useful skills such as – seeing the big picture, time management, perseverance, problem-solving, and patience.

Chess Clubs

Far from being a waste of time, chess can be of great benefit to children’s minds. Several academics have looked into this extensively. Chess has been linked to improving children’s concentration, problem-solving, critical, original, and creative thinking – and even mathematical abilities. It is also said to help with memory storage and how young brains manage information – and should not only be perceived as a game for gifted children.

Children with special educational needs can improve their abilities to learn and interact with other children if they become involved in school chess programs and clubs. Chess is one of many great alternatives to video games. It particularly instills strategic thinking skills, patience, executive functioning, abstract reasoning, and sportsmanship in children.
